I love the history of Brown County Ohio and decided to build some websites about the early settlers and the Townships themselves.

              Ive been working on the sites since October of 2003 and add new information to them almost daily.

             On this site you will find links to all of the Townships within Brown county  and some of the bigger Villages such as Georgetown (the county seat) ,Ripley the home of the underground Railroad. and some of the smaller hamlets through out Brown County.

         Also there is information about some of the earlier settlers like John Rankin, John P Parker and Some of the Justice of the Peace for the Townships.

          I will be adding tombstone pictures of the ealier settlers and  the history of each person and the roll they had in forming the county or the villages with in.

        I have a total of twenty active sites that i worked on and add information to daily. As of  03/29/2004 i have a total of over four hundred hours into these sites.

      Also all my pictures  are uploaded to the websites as a thumb nail image.  which means some of the headstones pictures are small and hard to see. if you want a full size picture. send a request to headstonerequest@yahoo.com
